Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

Clients are advised to review these terms carefully before confirming a booking with Ma Petite Cocotte. By proceeding with a booking, clients agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Who We Are

Ma Petite Cocotte is a London-based event catering service that provides freshly prepared, personalised food for private and corporate events. For enquiries, contact brigitte@mapetitecocotte.com.

2. Bookings and Quotes

All bookings commence with a personalised quote tailored to the specific event.

A contract is formed when:

• written confirmation of the booking is provided (by email); and

• the required deposit is paid.

We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit. Until confirmation, the date remains open and subject to availability.

3. Menu and Customisation

All menus are created to order and personalised for each event. Final menu selections must be confirmed no later than five working days before the event date.

Ma Petite Cocotte reserves the right to make minor substitutions when specific ingredients are unavailable and will, where reasonably possible, provide notification.

4. Pricing and Payment

A 30% deposit of the total booking value is required to confirm the event. The remaining balance is due five working days before the event.

Payments are accepted by credit/debit card or PayPal and processed securely via Stripe.

All card details are encrypted and are not stored by Ma Petite Cocotte.

Summary of payment terms:

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking.

• The remaining balance must be paid no later than five working days before the event.

• Late payments may result in cancellation of the booking.

5. Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, notification must be provided in writing (by email) as soon as possible:

• More than 10 working days before the event: full refund of the deposit.

• Within 7 working days of the event: 75% of the total booking value will be charged.

• On the day of the event: 100% of the total booking value will be charged.

6. Dietary Requirements and Allergens

Dietary requirements are taken seriously, and every effort will be made to accommodate guests’ needs.

However, Ma Petite Cocotte operates a kitchen that handles a wide range of allergens, including but not limited to nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. Therefore, the complete absence of any allergen cannot be guaranteed.

In cases of severe allergies, it is strongly recommended to discuss these requirements with Ma Petite Cocotte before confirming a booking.

Clients must inform Ma Petite Cocotte of any dietary requirements or allergies in advance. While every effort is made to prepare food with care, a completely allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

7. Delivery and Drop-Off

Orders will be delivered to the address provided at the agreed time.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery.

If no one is present, the food will be left in a pre-arranged safe location, and responsibility for the food passes to the client from that point.

Refrigerated items must be stored correctly upon receipt.

8. Food Safety and Storage

All food is prepared in accordance with UK food hygiene regulations.

Each dish is labelled with a best-before or use-by date and storage instructions. Clients are responsible for following these instructions.

Refrigerated dishes can typically be stored for up to 72 hours after delivery and may be frozen for up to 4 weeks, unless otherwise stated on the label.

9. Our Products

Photos on our website are for illustrative purposes only. The finished dishes and presentation may vary slightly, and packaging may also differ from the images shown.

10. Liability

Ma Petite Cocotte’s liability is limited to the value of your booking.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, traffic delays, supplier issues, or adverse weather).

We are not responsible for any deterioration of food once it has been delivered and responsibility has passed to you.

11. Your Personal Data

Personal information is used solely to fulfil bookings, process payments, and, where permitted, occasionally notify clients of similar services that may be of interest.

Personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties, except where required by Law or where necessary to process the booking (for example, payment processors). For full details, refer to the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

The laws of England and Wales govern these terms.

In the event of a dispute, clients are encouraged to contact Ma Petite Cocotte directly in the first instance. If the matter cannot be resolved, it may be referred to an alternative dispute resolution service. Further information is available at www.londonadr.com.
